Moving

So I had a super vivid dream last night of me moving out of my apartment in Provo and heading towards home. Apparently New York was not in the picture in this reality. So my family is helping me move, and the Simnitts are helping me move (so apparently it was also sophomore year). At one point I go to the bookstore to say hi to Mariah and I come across this super attractive guy (tall, blond, blue eyes). We strike up a conversation and we're obviously interested in each other, problem, I leave the next day. So then I'm talking to Mariah about whether or not we think he's LDS (apparently the fact we met at BYU wasn't enough) and whether or not I should try to see if this is worth trying out.

Then we jump to a date of sorts we're on and there's a lot of flirting, almost hand holding, almost kissing, but never really doing it. Then its the next morning and both our parents are packing us up and we have to say a SUPER awkward goodbye. Jack appeared to be a few years younger, and more annoying, then he is now. And this mystery man's siblings were all super young and running around. So we're finally almost alone and he's about to kiss me and his dad pops up and says "remember no kissing' in this family!" Excuse me? Really? The guy is a returned missionary. I was so mad in the dream. And then I got in the car, never to see mystery hot boy ever again. I can't even get a man in my dreams anymore. Rough.

I blame the book I'm currently reading, Beautiful Darkness. Its the second in a series and the main guy is trying to find the first love of his life, who wants nothing to do with him, but he finds another girl he really cares about and he's all confused and junk. Blah, blah, blah, teen angst.

This picture has nothing to do with the post, I just miss my dc peeps.

Hunger Games

So in reality I've started a new book, Beautiful Creatures. Which according to my friend Julie is like Twilight but set in the South, the main character is a boy, and its better than Twilight. So far so good. There is a sequel to the book and thats where my dream picks up.

For some reason my family is shopping at the Beaverton Mall, Cider Hills Crossing, or whatever its called, and there's a Walmart across the street. So we all head over to the Walmart. I end up finding the sequel and go to get in line to buy it. Well the line to buy things is ridiculously long, I means a few times around the building long. So I eventually give up because I've got to head over to practice. Practice for what you may ask. Oh just a little movie called the Hunger Games! I'm not Katniss or anything, to be honest I'm not sure who I was suppose to be. I was doing some physical training in the arena they built for the film and I was running and climbing with the actors who are playing Katniss and Peeta. It was so much fun.

I wish that dream was true. With my new dark hair I'd be an awesome Katniss, or maybe Madge. I could do that. All in all it was a fantastic dream.

Paint-ball and New York

So I keep having New York dreams. The first of which was just me and one of the Tech guys kicking it in New York, it was like the rest of the group wasn't even there. And after some recent events, it was kind of nice. The next dream I was catching the Subway with pretty much all the other crew peeps. And for some reason I got on and no one else did. So Jordan begins signing to me to get off at the right stop, it was kind of funny seeing Jordan sign. So my train stops for some reason so I get off and catch the next subway and its some SKETCHY wooden train/tram. So I hopped on and hoped I wouldn't die.

The next dream I'd like to recount was my awesome Community Modern Warfare 2 dream. So it picked up were last week's episode ended. The ice cream evil people were everywhere, I was Annie, and it was hard core. We were all low on bullets throughout the dream, and there were random assemblies we all had to go to, and we always had our guns ready. To be honest there wasn't a ton of paint-ball action, but I woke up and was super excited for Thursday's episode. Actually TV on Thursday in general will be epic. Until then Netflix will keep me company.

Fun, Fun, Fun

Oh hey friends. It been a while. So quick update. I graduated, went to New York, and now have moved back to Portland. Also I decided to begin a transformation into becoming more like Zooey Dechannel. Its coming along nicely.

My poor sister had a DC nightmare the other night. It involved the lines for best of and a three legged stool building contest. Yes I know its odd. And apparently no one knows how to build a stool properly.

I had hopefully, for real this time, my last DC dream. It was triggered by an incident that occurred in NY where one of my friends, who will remain nameless, made a comment about my heritage and how it affected how I could enjoy a burger. Anyway, it was included into a sketch in my dream, and it involved me being on stage during an actual sketch. Luckily that was only a dream.

Lastly, I had a Chuck dream. Its was odd. Sarah had been possessed and so Chuck and I had to kick some butt. We did by the way.

Having a TV in my room is only going to bring more tv related dreams.

One last time

So first off I'd like to announce, I'm done with finals FOREVER!

So two dreams. The first is what I hope to be the last DC nightmare I ever have. So Maddy and I are working with the line in the Tanner building, but for some reason we're not sure if the show is there or actually in the Varsity Theater. So we're trying to sort that out when I find humor u performing in the hallways for the line. Which I thought was very odd, but have other things to be worrying about. Then I realize I'm late for something, so I pull Heather (one of the wives) and ask her to watch the line. Then Maddy and I run to the Marriott Center where I'm graduating. Got to count of=n DC for scheduling a show during graduation.....

Then last night I had a dream my brother Jack and I were kidnapped. The man who kidnapped Jack was super creepy but not threating to abuse him like the wife did, so I jumped her and started beating her with a brick so Jack could escape, but he didn't get so far. I'm not really sure why the lady didn't pass out, I hit her probably 15 times. So they let me call my mom and I'm just chatting with her and then I let slip Jack and I are kidnapped, and she's super confused. Then I got a text from someone and woke up. So it wasn't resolved. But I'm hoping that one never comes true.

I'm so Gleeful!

So first off my shoulder has been killing me recently. Keep that in mind.

But more excitingly I had a Glee dream. And yes I'm blogging about this instead of writing a paper. So I'm Rachel, and we're at nationals, I'm about to sing my original song and the microphone is having major issues, and no one can hear me. Then Sue walks on to make some ridiculous speech about destroying us. So I stop singing and walk off stage, to which Fin comes up to me and tells me that dating Quinn again was a mistake. Quinn of course overhears this and faints. I find her and throw her over my right shoulder and carry her around for a while until I find a place to put her down.

I have no idea whether or not we win nationals or anything, all I know is that this morning, in reality, my right shoulder was KILLING me. Stupid Quinn...

General Conference

Sorry its been almost a month. I've been super busy with graduation just around the corner and haven't had many dreams that would interest anyone really.

So background first. For my church history class we've been reading the Gordon B Hinckley biography. Its already caused problems as I keep trying to call President Monson, President Hinckley. Anyway, its been a really good read. And I think the most recent chapter I read, about he getting called into the 1st presidency, sparked last nights dream.

We're sitting in the conference center, my family that is, and my Father is elsewhere for some reason. Then we realize he's been called as a general authority of some sort. But he keeps coming back to sit with us for a time, wearing jeans. Actually we were all wearing jeans, and the meeting never seemed to stop. And they had food venders walking around. It was more like the Marriott Center than the conference center. Super weird.
