Traditions

So I know I've told a few of you this but for Christmas my family has a few funny traditions.
One of my favorites is who our presents are "from". We get the usual Santa gift, and then one or two from Mom and Dad, and from other family. But then the rest of the gifts are from famous people or characters from our favorite movies, shows, and books. And lets just say my parents were in their element this year. And I just really wanted to write about how entertaining it all was. First off I got a thermal shirt from Rihanna that had umbrellas all over it! Get it! So good. Apple & Moses gave me the newest Coldplay album, since its their Dad's and all.  Barney of How I Met Your Mother got me a nice tuxedo jacket, you know so I can "suit up". "Darth.......Vader" gave me the scripts to the original Star Wars trilogy. (That ones mostly funny because we recently rewatched Revenge of the Sith and  Senator Palpatine tells him he shall be known as Darth....... Vader, like we didn't know). Oh and my Day in History Calendar was from Tom Brokaw. Good times.  Other times there are gifts from just people/ characters I like. Katniss got me a nice pair of jeans. There were some other good ones, but those are truly the best.

Also Lego Harry Potter 2 is great! As is Just Dance 3.

I really haven't had any entertaining dreams as of late. Mostly working nightmares leading up to Christmas. But I felt like I'd been neglecting my poor blog. So be ready for other random posts. Since work is going to be slowing down considerably I'm going to need something to pass all the extra hours.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas!

Until Next Time,
Sweet Dreams!

What Perfume?

Ok I know I usually only blog about my dreams, but this needed to be documented.

My bank branch has SUPER flirty tellers. My usual teller does the usual small talk flirting. Last time I came in he saw my paycheck and mention dropping by Thinker Toys to check it out. Which I felt was moving way to fast in our flirting relationship.

So today I come in to deposit this last month's paycheck and my normal guy wasn't there, which I was a little sad about.  I come up to this other young bank teller who begins with the normal small talk and then moves into "May I say that your perfume smells very good." Now fun fact for those of you who don't know me, I don't wear perfume, and I wasn't even wearing my new cake lotion. So I reply "Oh, thank you, but I'm not wearing any..." He then suggest that maybe it my hair, so we agree on that. Other fun fact, I can't really smell things, ever, so to me my hair smells like nothing. My Mother however informed me it indeed has a very strong, and good, scent. He too noticed I work at Thinker Toys and asked what it is. So I inform him its a local toy store in Multnomah Village, and that I use to shop there when I was a kid. He seems very impressed and asked if I ever dreamed of working there as a kid. No not really, but whatever. I then mention that I've just graduated college, which he then asked what I studied. So we're back to normal small talk.  But then he says "I see that your birthday is coming up." What? Yeah, he was looking up my birthday on my bank profile! What! So I tell him "Yes, it is coming up." To which he replies "How do you like having your birthday on the 1st?" Oh wow, yeah he's really looking it up. So I tell him as a kid it wasn't so much fun because people were out of town, but now its nice. And then he says "Yeah now that your over 21, I'm sure it much more fun." Oh wow, again, totally looking at my whole record. Then he hands me my deposit receipt and tells me to come back soon so we can talk again.
So aggressive! I mean WOW!

I think the reason this was so shocking is that up until about a year ago I could never tell when men were flirting with me. So now I'm not sure if I want to find an excuse to come back, or run away screaming. Its a tough decision.

Also I was wearing this today. (This is going to be for our Christmas card, I'm not weird and take pictures of my outfits when I get flirted with, just to clarify)

So all in all I had a very enjoyable day. And I may need to go back to the bank....
