Meat is Murder... But Murder is also Murder

It finally happened. I had a Psych dream! And it was awesome!!!! So I'm pretty sure I played the role of Juliet. So there was some serial killer on the loss and Shawn had to solve these riddles so that we could save the little boy who had been kidnapped. However one time Shawn didn't solve it in time and a clown with three balloons blew up and knocked Shawn over, I was of course deeply upset. But no matter, he was just fine. So then we ran to a school to hijack a bus and started chasing the villain. It was a high speed chase, or at least as high speed you can get on a large school bus. Unfortunately we got called over by a police officer and then I woke up. But it was awesome all in all!

I love Psych.

Another DC Nightmare

Since joining crew for Divine Comedy last fall I have had a serious of anxious nightmares leading up to shows, film shots or anything involving DC. So last night I had another one of those dreams. With the newest outbreak of the DC flu, this month's variety of the pig sort, my dream centered around a hospital visit. It is a typical show night: crazy crowds and a frantic me. People kept trying to go in before it was time, and then P Pack came running up the stairs to get me to help her take Susie to the hospital because she was really sick. No good at all. So we walk her up the Tanner's million of stairs and then she gets to the hospital of the sudden. Dream world is a wonderful place. I then find myself needing to start letting in the early passes. So that goes without to much trouble, but then the real line starts going in. People don't have tickets and were trying to get in, had the wrong tickets (all very normal for any given show). And then all of a sudden this girl from my middle and high school shows up and looks at me and said "Oh Alex, I didn't know you were in Divine Comedy, that's so cute." I was very angry, first off because Faith doesn't even go to BYU, second we were never friends, and lastly how dare she call me cute.

So I woke up slightly enraged, even more so when I realized my alarm decided to go off 47 minutes late. Foolish. Also my printer decided to be out of ink, and the SWKT computer lab is also foolish, and since when did any computer on campus not have Office 2007!?!? Stressful morning. But it finally got resolved. I look forward to a more relaxing sleep.

Costco and a Hindu Temple

So the first of my dreams last night started off in Costco with my dear friend Krysten. We were getting some of the essentials also a TON of makeup which was kind of strange. Anyway I randomly ran into this girl from home who I've known since elementary school, Amelia Holcome. So I say hello and wish her a happy birthday. A little weird. Then we go on our merry way getting stuff. Then all of a sudden Krysten has turned into one of my coworkers from Target, which in reality is where I work over the summer. (Now this often happens in my dreams where it starts off as one person and then turns into someone completely different, so be prepared for this happening a lot) So now I'm talking to my target friend and she's telling me about how the store is doing and such. then she has to go to work sudden and now I'm alone in target, and this is where I wake up.

Now this next dream is probably the weirdest I've had in a while. To start off I was discussing Dan Brown books with someone, which all of a sudden turned into me being at a Catholic mass. During this mass this man made some important announcement, which has slipped my mind. then he request I assist him deliver this message to the Hindu church meeting in town. I then proceed to walk on foot to this Hindu Temple which was not very close, may I add. Once I arrived I took my seat and all of a sudden I was in a large Anthropology lecture. During this lecture, which ran 20 minutes long by the way I got a text message from this guy in my ward, who in reality I don't know very well at all. So I head to the back of the classroom were he begins to tell me about his mission in Brazil. I convince him to give me a ride home, because once again it took forever to get to the Hindu Temple/lecture hall. Sitting next to this ward member of mine was my friend slash neighbor Nicole, she too get a ride home with the boy. This dream never really came to a conclusion or had any real substance. And still confuses me a little.

Welcome to the Magical World of my Dreams

Some of you my know this, but I have strange dreams fairly often. These range from dreams where I'm part of some of my favorite TV show, or movie, real life adventures or very very not real life adventures. So as requested by my dear friend Gregory I've decided to blog about them for the entertainment of those who are interested.

And to start us off lets start with a recent dream...

A few nights ago I had the most wonderful dream that I was watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with some of my closest friends. This movie contained some real scenes for the movie, parts in the book left out and then my minds on rendition of the Harry Potter world, it was quite enjoyable. And then we discussed how it was time for our favorite part, Cormac McLaggen. And low and behold who showed up but Comac. And apparently he was my boyfriend. We started dancing around the room, it was very romantic. Oh how I love him.... Well then that dream came to a close, it was very sad, but awesome at the same time

then last night...

I had this interesting dream that I was driving that I was driving in down town Portland with my friends Matt, Kabe and Mal. It was so much fun. We were apparently on our way to my house in Portland, so I was showing everyone my old hangouts, schools and just Portland as a whole. However when we pulled up to my house it was not my but an apartment complex that is in reality down the street from mine. Really quite strange. But there my dad was to great us for this pretty random visit. But fun none the less.
