new career opportunities

So apparently as I'm capable of dreaming of is Divine Comedy. I'd love some variety.

So I'm in some Arabic palace and some familiar faces from DC are present, and yes of course we're all under cover CIA agents (and may I say if that were true we'd be the best spies our great country had). So it is my job to seduce the king or whatever he is by posing as a belly-dancer. I needed Matt's help to get in the best location for the king to see me. And may I say I'm a pretty good dancer.

Then its a few days later I'm back at BYU and Matt comes up to inform me that I got invited to the second round of auditions for a permanent dancer for the king. Don't worry I turned him down. I had also recently applied to be Natalie and Alex's nanny. What kind of baby they had I do not know, but it was very exciting for everyone. As the good and trusting friends they are they offered me the job, to which I replied I couldn't really take it because I didn't have a car and driving out to there place every morning would be difficult. To my surprise Matt then offered to take me to their house every morning at 6:30 AM. Don't worry even in my dream state I found that extremely shocking, assuming Matt has never been up during that hour unless he never went to bed. So I think I got the job at that point.

But I swear I'm very happy with my current job. Though this could be my subconscious giving me some ideas for post graduation work. As it appears belly-dancer is my best bet.

Let the nightmares continue

It finally happened. I had a dream within a dream were I woke up and everything. Thank you Inception. It was more of a nightmare within a dream though.

First I'm dreaming pretty much everyone I care about is camping in some camper van. Said camper van catches fire and many of the people I love are consumed by the flames. Including most of my family. The only person I find is my mother. Needless to say I was a little panic stricken. Not only that but before I woke up I couldn't even account for all of my closest friends. It was awful.

Then all of a sudden I wake up and look out my bedroom to see I'm looking at Tanner 151 and its time for auditions. Mike is there already with some weird history of DC slide show and there are a million people there to audition. People are sitting in the cast/crew spots so I have to kick them out and then before we start Natalie does here audition, but Jordon joins in and it gets a little out of hand.

I can't wait for this weekend to be over. And I'm not letting my family come anywhere near a camper van.

Until next time,
Sweet dreams.

I don't want to go back!

So a few of us DCers watched Junior last night, so of course I had a dream one of the DC guys was pregnant. Not sure which one, but it was a big DC scandal. It was all very hush hush.

But the worst dream was that Maddy and I were going back to high school with Jack. I was a senior, and Katie and Maren were both there. My classes were super sucky. Maddy was a junior I assume, and Jack a freshman. And of course we were super late and I couldn't open my locket, and did I mention my classes were stupid!?! Nightmare, I tell you.

Auditions

Of course with the constant flow of Divine Comedy duties since I've been back I had a few DC dream/nightmares.

The first of which included this weekends coming show. Since we were doing things from last year we invited Derk back to perform. I'm not really sure how that one turned out but we invited him. Its the thought that counts right?

Last night I had a dream we were having our auditions in Helaman Halls of course. And Maddy auditioned. As did this one girl who made it to call backs last year. And for some reason the rest of the group didn't show up. Good one team.

Lets hope both realities go much better.

And lets also hope I get this job at the library so I'm not tempted to sleep into 9 every Tuesday and Thursday.

Until Next Time,
