Pottermen

Ok so this one started out like many of my Harry Potter dreams. We were in the battle of Hogwarts, I was following Ron and Harry. Fred kept almost dying, professors were frantically protecting kids. And then I follow the men back to Hogshead. We're talking to Aberforth and he leads us to the roof, but now Ron and Harry are gone and Maddy is there. And Aberforth is now Storm, of the X-Men. So these deatheaters/bad mutants are trying to find Maddy and I, but we're invisible, but Storm can still see us. And the bad mutant also controls the weather, but only cold fronts, so it starts getting really cold. Storm tells Maddy and I to run back downstairs and hide. So naturally we go to the couch and throw a blanket over ourselves and I take a nap. Storm defeats the Storm-man and then comes downstairs with his sidekick. There was some arguing of some sort, and then I'm watching Magneto and his minions/deatheaters trying to figure out where Maddy and I were.

It was odd, even for me, I will admit.

A Future?

So ironically enough I'm having some trouble sleeping. So I'd decided to blog a bit.

As of late I've been reassessing my life. I know moving back to Portland was right, my new calling has made that clear. So anyway I've been thinking more about what next. So obviously Grad School is on my mind a lot. And my summer shows like White Collar and Covert Affairs have started up again. These facts are important.

Last night I had a dream I was in the running for a very prestigious Master's program in Library Science. The best part was that it was only 4 months long, and for some reason it was at Langley (yes the CIA headquarters, don't ask). So to apply you had to do all of these weird test, like identifying what type of paper things were, and at some point things were blowing up. And in the end I didn't get the spot because I blew my last test so the other girl could win. I know this because there was a flash back of me blowing it. So in the end I decided to go to school a little closer to home and a bit longer.

I won't lie, its got me thinking more and more seriously about where the best place for me to go would be. Oh adulthood. What fun you are.

Deathly Hallows part deux

I know I've had plenty of Harry Potter dreams over the last few years. But this one I feel is worth documenting.

So I'm at the Deathly Hallows part 2 premier with Maddy, Mariah, and Kittye (sorry Jack). There was a lot of fitting about seats with some hoodlums but we finally found enough seats.

The movie starts and its Harry and Dumbledore in some house talking about Voldemort. So its kind of like the King's Cross chapter. But then Ron and Hermione come walking in arguing, as usual. Also its the Dumbledore from the first 2 movies. So then Dumbledore leaves, and the trio disapperates to some city street. And then they start following this weird spiral thing (like they have at BYU leading up the the Marriot).

That's all I really remember. It was quite odd. And you'd think for the billions of time I've read that book my subconscious could come up with the real story. Silly Brain. Also I woke up and bought my tickets. 12:01 baby!!!!!

Its War!

So I finished watching season 2 of Castle last night, and in the finale there is this weird spy-cation company. Anyway, I think that sparked my dream last night.

I'm wearing my lime green and whale shirt, love that thing. And all of a sudden I'm in some abandon street with a gun. I look around and see some familiar faces, Caitlin, Mike, and Maddy. Then someone starts firing from up the street, so I get some cover behind a tree. Then I run into the street and start shooting like crazy. I think I hit someone. I'm not really sure why I was in a war zone of sorts, but it was intense. Also I'm not the best shot.

Moving

So I had a super vivid dream last night of me moving out of my apartment in Provo and heading towards home. Apparently New York was not in the picture in this reality. So my family is helping me move, and the Simnitts are helping me move (so apparently it was also sophomore year). At one point I go to the bookstore to say hi to Mariah and I come across this super attractive guy (tall, blond, blue eyes). We strike up a conversation and we're obviously interested in each other, problem, I leave the next day. So then I'm talking to Mariah about whether or not we think he's LDS (apparently the fact we met at BYU wasn't enough) and whether or not I should try to see if this is worth trying out.

Then we jump to a date of sorts we're on and there's a lot of flirting, almost hand holding, almost kissing, but never really doing it. Then its the next morning and both our parents are packing us up and we have to say a SUPER awkward goodbye. Jack appeared to be a few years younger, and more annoying, then he is now. And this mystery man's siblings were all super young and running around. So we're finally almost alone and he's about to kiss me and his dad pops up and says "remember no kissing' in this family!" Excuse me? Really? The guy is a returned missionary. I was so mad in the dream. And then I got in the car, never to see mystery hot boy ever again. I can't even get a man in my dreams anymore. Rough.

I blame the book I'm currently reading, Beautiful Darkness. Its the second in a series and the main guy is trying to find the first love of his life, who wants nothing to do with him, but he finds another girl he really cares about and he's all confused and junk. Blah, blah, blah, teen angst.

This picture has nothing to do with the post, I just miss my dc peeps.
