Trick or Treat

Had a fun one this morning. It was one of those dreams when you've woken up but fall asleep again and you have a very detailed dream. So in the dream its Halloween morning and Matt, Kabe, Casey, and Whit show up at my house to celebrate Halloween with me. Now Whit soon switched to my friend Katie, and then she disappears all together, but that's not really important. The boys decided to come celebrate Halloween up in Portland to insure a fun time. So I get all dressed up in my epic wonder women costume and we head to Multnomah Village for their Halloween fun, and to show the boys where I work. It was an enjoyable dream. And it has forced me to admit I do miss my friends in Provo. But alas I don't see me making it out there any time soon.

So this ones for you Provo friends. Blog shout out!

Also these costumes my mom made for Jack and I were awesome.

Jack obviously went as Pikachu

And I was Wonder Women.

And Maddy went as Luna Lovegood. So basically us Greaves children are super nerds.

Just Deal With It

So its been quite a while. Sorry. I haven't really felt up to writing. But I've got a few gems.

About a month ago I had this really weird dream. So the dream starts off with us getting ready, and then sending Maddy off to school. Then all of a sudden my parents are talking about moving to Utah. Which of course I assumed they were kidding. But then Dad has got himself transferred to the Salt Lake VA, and we're moving there. Our house was huge! and really close to a bunch of little shops, so it seemed like a nice area. Then all of a sudden its two years later and we want to move back to Portland. So we go to our house there, but people are living in it. Pretty much everything in my room is the same apart from the bedding. And Dad has to do some clever talking to get us back in the house. It was super weird. Mostly because I know my Mother would NEVER want to move to Utah.

Another quick one. I had a dream I had gotten a nose job when I was probably 13. It was really strange and now I'm paying more attention to my nose.

Then last night I had a dream in which I can only assume was out of solidarity with poor Jack who started school today. So I dream that something went wrong the year I graduated from High school and that my entire class had to do another semester at Wilson High School. I still had my college degree but had to go back to high school. So that was weird enough but the people who wanted to hang out with me at lunch were these people I've known forever (many since Elementary school), but haven't really been friends with on a good 10 years. I don't remember attending any classes, mostly I has just going to my locker and eating lunch. I'm so glad that phase of my life is done!

Well now that I'm still unemployed I'll try to be better at writing. I've got to keep myself busy now that all my sibling are back at school.

Until Next Time,

Adventure's in dream wolrd

So I've had a few strange dreams over the last few days.

The first of which were set in Provo. First I'm starting up a new history class. Its with my favorite teacher, Dr Skabelund, and its the most vague description of a class ever. Its basically World History, no timeline whatsoever. As the class begins I realized its more like Wars of World History. And we had a ton of reading for the class. Then all of a sudden I'm kind of teaching or TAing the class. It was very odd. Then I'm out of class and wondering Provo with Mariah. We make our way to Park Plaza to see the new renovations they had done. The apartments had become mostly kitchen and bathroom, I couldn't see a bedroom anywhere. It was very odd. Also we kind of broke into an apartment to see them, ops.

Last night I had a wedding/Twilight dream. Yes I was upset too. Apparently my mind is psyched about the Breaking Dawn movie. It started off in my old house and I'm Bella, and all the Cullens are sitting around the house. I'm having to get all packed for the honeymoon. And all I'm packing is make-up (what does that really say about me?) Also for some reason I take hair mascara (I think I've been watching too many 90s shows (Power Rangers, All That, and Clarissa Explains it All)) and make my bangs black, very fetching. Then I'm in a very puffy wedding dress in some large house. But Edward is gone and now I'm marry one of my friend's cousins or something. And Mike is there setting up the Love Story he did for us (I think watching his latest one on Facebook sparked this part). The rest of the dream I'm walking around this large house checking on decorations, and my hair and make-up.
It was a weird one for sure. I hope my real wedding is nothing like this.

You Graduated, Remember?

So I had two dreams last night in regards to me forgetting I'm not going back to Provo in the Fall. In reality I know I'm not, and that I've graduated, but I think it will really ring true in September when I'm not there.

1st dream- I'm talking to my Provo friends, telling them how I think I'll come back just for Fall semester to get one more class out of the way. But even in my dream I remember I graduated and don't need any more classes. But I was so desperate to come back.

2nd dream- A bunch of my friends were getting married. I was in Utah for the weddings. I was a bridesmaid of some sort (which of course had to be a dream, haha) and I was talking to one of the other bridesmaids who asked if I was coming to her wedding in February. At first I said "oh yes of course, I'll be here anyway" but then I remembered I'm not a student anymore, so I told her I'd have to see if I had a job by then.

So sad. I'm an adult now, with no real ambitions. I'll be working on that.

Moving

So I had a super vivid dream last night of me moving out of my apartment in Provo and heading towards home. Apparently New York was not in the picture in this reality. So my family is helping me move, and the Simnitts are helping me move (so apparently it was also sophomore year). At one point I go to the bookstore to say hi to Mariah and I come across this super attractive guy (tall, blond, blue eyes). We strike up a conversation and we're obviously interested in each other, problem, I leave the next day. So then I'm talking to Mariah about whether or not we think he's LDS (apparently the fact we met at BYU wasn't enough) and whether or not I should try to see if this is worth trying out.

Then we jump to a date of sorts we're on and there's a lot of flirting, almost hand holding, almost kissing, but never really doing it. Then its the next morning and both our parents are packing us up and we have to say a SUPER awkward goodbye. Jack appeared to be a few years younger, and more annoying, then he is now. And this mystery man's siblings were all super young and running around. So we're finally almost alone and he's about to kiss me and his dad pops up and says "remember no kissing' in this family!" Excuse me? Really? The guy is a returned missionary. I was so mad in the dream. And then I got in the car, never to see mystery hot boy ever again. I can't even get a man in my dreams anymore. Rough.

I blame the book I'm currently reading, Beautiful Darkness. Its the second in a series and the main guy is trying to find the first love of his life, who wants nothing to do with him, but he finds another girl he really cares about and he's all confused and junk. Blah, blah, blah, teen angst.

Until Next Time,

This picture has nothing to do with the post, I just miss my dc peeps.
