Trick or Treat

Had a fun one this morning. It was one of those dreams when you've woken up but fall asleep again and you have a very detailed dream. So in the dream its Halloween morning and Matt, Kabe, Casey, and Whit show up at my house to celebrate Halloween with me. Now Whit soon switched to my friend Katie, and then she disappears all together, but that's not really important. The boys decided to come celebrate Halloween up in Portland to insure a fun time. So I get all dressed up in my epic wonder women costume and we head to Multnomah Village for their Halloween fun, and to show the boys where I work. It was an enjoyable dream. And it has forced me to admit I do miss my friends in Provo. But alas I don't see me making it out there any time soon.

So this ones for you Provo friends. Blog shout out!

Also these costumes my mom made for Jack and I were awesome.

Jack obviously went as Pikachu

And I was Wonder Women.

And Maddy went as Luna Lovegood. So basically us Greaves children are super nerds.

Sick

Man I have the best (and by best I mean weirdest) dreams when I'm sick.  So before bed last night I took some night time cold medicine.  From all the scattered dreams I can remember most of them had to do with me taking medicine or wanting medicine. At one point I was mixing cold medicines in an effort to sleep better. And then I had a really strange one where I was pregnant. Like I said, being sick does some crazy stuff to my subconscious.  And even with taking medicine last night I still woke up at 2:30AM and then 4:30AM. Lets just say work was super exciting today.

Defending Religion

So I had a strange combo dream that I think had something to do with Mad Men and Sister Wives. Yes strange combo indeed.  It first starts off in some cafe where I'm meeting Peggy (from Mad Men), so obviously we're in the 60s and I helped arrange this meeting so the father from Peggy's church (yes the one who is really just Collin Hanks) can meet with her and make her feel terrible about herself.  So we're having that awkward conversation for a while, but then Collin disappears and my parents are there and its modern time again.  And I'm attempting to defend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to my parents, who appear to not be Mormon. I was trying, and failing to explain the Book of Mormon, and the Joseph Smith translation of the Bible. They were not being very nice about any of it.  It was an awful dream.

So first off I'm glad my parents are indeed members, and that I don't have to explain myself to them.  Second, I feel like watching an episode of Sister Wives has given me better comebacks when people play the polygamy card. And thirdly, I want Mad Men to come back so I stop  making up new story lines.

Hopefully some Downton Abbey will fill the void.
